Reiki, like many other Eastern and Western training methods, are divided into several levels. As one goes through these levels, they will find that they will be able to focus and find universal energy easier. Eventually, they will be able to use these energies as a practitioner and as a master in order to help teach and heal others. Understanding the different levels in Reiki can also help you in understanding different levels to healing.
When people are learning Reiki, they will begin with Reiki levels I and II. These two classes will teach the basics when using Reiki as a healing method. They usually consist of discussions, practice and lectures. The specific hand positions that are used in Reiki will be taught. You will also learn which conditions you should use this type of healing in. From this, you will be able to know how to give a complete Reiki treatment and can find how Reiki can heal different types of habits and illnesses.
The next step to this is learning the different symbols that are involved in Reiki. This will be the beginning of level II training in Reiki. Knowing how to use these symbols is an important step in Reiki II. You will also learn how to find inner energies and where they are blocked through the use of scanning. From here, you will find how to call on universal energies to stop the blocking.
From these two levels, one will go into advanced Reiki training. Usually, this is a longer and more intensive class. The purpose of this training is to increase the awareness and consciousness one has in relation to the inner and outer energies. Techniques will be given to you on how to strengthen your mind. This strengthening will include problem solving and abilities for achieving goals. Many times, advanced Reiki training will also incorporate ways to use crystals, stones or sounds for Reiki healing.
The advanced Reiki training then continues through adding more tools to your training. You will learn how to make a Reiki grid that will allow for you to be able to send certain energies in specific ways. You will also learn how to clear negative energies and blocks from your system. Guided meditations are often used during this training, as well as different exercises to heighten consciousness in relation to energies.
From here, you can move into Reiki III, or Master Training. Here, you will learn how to use different symbols and attunements. This will add onto the skills that you have for healing. This training session involves more practice time than lectures and discussions, as you will be learning how to focus and move energies at these different conscious levels. With this Master level completion, you can teach Reiki to others.
From here, you can learn how to become a healer of Reiki. By going through this program, you will be able to use your energies and conscious levels to heal others who are ill. Karuna Reiki is one of the types of healing methods that you can become trained in. There are also several others that will allow for your completion in Reiki training.
